Baden-Württemberg Investment Pact: Social Integration – Application for Additional Funding
The Investment Pact supports urban development projects that help revitalise town and city centres and contribute to climate protection.
Funding is provided on a pro-rata basis, with a total grant rate of 90 per cent of eligible expenditure.
You have the option of submitting a request for additional funding to apply for an increase in the financial assistance previously approved.

Prerequisite
Grant recipients are towns and local authorities in Baden-Württemberg that are carrying out an urban regeneration or development project.
An application for additional funding may only be submitted for ongoing urban development projects that are already included in the Investment Pact.
Procedure
1. Submitting an application
- Applications can only be submitted electronically via the service portal. Please use the online form for this purpose.
- You will need a user account with Mein Unternehmenskonto (MUK). MUK is the central, nationwide access account for digital administrative services provided by the federal government, the Länder and local authorities. You log in securely using an ELSTER organisation certificate based on your tax number.
- You will also need the authorisation ID and the passcode. You can find the authorisation ID in the authorisation notice for the individual urban development project. Alternatively, this will have been communicated to you separately. The passcode will also have been communicated to you separately.
- Once you have completed and submitted the online form, the system will send a confirmation of receipt to the inbox of your user account. You will also receive a confirmation email.
- If, after submitting your application, you realise that changes are required to your application or the annexes, please use the online form ‘Application for Amendment’ for this purpose.
- The relevant regional council will handle further communication with you electronically, in writing or by telephone.
2. Approval
- If the eligibility criteria are met and the relevant budgetary funds are available, the grant notification will be issued by the relevant regional council.
3. Notification requirements
You must notify the relevant regional council in writing without delay if
- the regeneration area is designated or amended (with a site plan),
- further funding is applied for or received, or relevant details change,
- the purpose of the grant or other eligibility criteria change or cease to apply,
- the purpose of the grant cannot be achieved or the funded expenditure is reduced,
- funded items are no longer used for their intended purpose or are no longer required,
- the grant is not utilised, or is only partially utilised, within the approval period.
